Anniversary walk for Ramblers

Newmarket Ramblers have their anniversary walk on Sunday, when members will retrace the steps of the group’s inaugural walk from Ashley playing field, more than 30 years ago.

Further information on the walk, which starts at 10am and will include footpaths through the local studs, is available from Phil on 01628 751289.

All members, past, present and prospective, are welcome. A donation towards village hall funds will be requested.

Wednesday morning’s 5½ mile walk, starting at 10am, is from the village hall car park in Ixworth. Walk leader is Tony, who can be contacted on 01638 750182.
