NEWMARKET Conservative Club has been a feature of Newmarket Life for 123 years.
There is a rumour around town that its demise is imminent, which is completely without foundation.

It is true that we would consider moving to another location should a suitable one become available and could even do so without closing down. But it is not right to suggest the club is about to die.

Despite the efforts of this hopeless Government in increasing alcohol duty and banning smoking on the premises, our 450 members will continue to enjoy the services on offer for the foreseeable future.

Certainly long enough to see a Conservative Government.

Bill Sadler
Club Secretary
Newmarket Conservative Club
