LADIES Day at Newmarket? Don't make me laugh.
All those beautiful ladies making the effort in time and money to support the event and, in my opinion, brighten up the whole day with their hats and marvellous dresses.

But did they see any reward? No.

Everyone I spoke to never saw the judging for the best-dressed lady or the winner. Not one announcement was heard or the time shown in the race card (if you had one).

These girls and ladies need encouragement on Ladies Day.

If, like the racecourse officials, they lose interest, we would all be done for.

Good luck next year ladies (you are all winners).
