Thelma Heslop
ST MARY'S Church, Newmarket, was overflowing with family, friends and colleagues at a service on June 21 celebrating the life of Thelma Amanda Heslop.
Mrs Heslop, who was known as Wilms, and of Landwade Farm Cottages, Exning, died at St Nicholas' Hospice, Bury St Edmunds, on June 9 after a short illness.
She was 54.
Born in Newmarket, she attended the upper school and had worked as a catering assistant at the British Racing School. She had lived in Exning for the last two years.
She liked to follow football, especially Tottenham Hotspurs, and over the years had enjoyed many family holidays in Cornwall.
Mrs Heslop is survived by her husband Brian, and leaves two daughters, Sophie and Emily.
The service was taken by the Rev John Hardy.
