Students raise cash for charity

A SMALL group of pupils from Mildenhall College of Technology have shown their caring side after raising more than £140 for charity.

At the end of last month, Year 10 pupils Courtney Reeve, Victoria Peacock and Tiffany Allatson, handed over a cheque for £142 to national deaf and blind charity Sense, at their shop in Ipswich.

Inspiring the trio to raise the cash was 12-year-old Mark Baines, whom Courtney met at an art workshop.

The youngsters raised the money after carrying out a number of collections at the Bury Road college, including one at their annual carol service.
