Sheila waves goodbye to college kitchen

LONG-serving dinner lady Sheila Clements, seen here with colleagues and pupils, has prepared her last school meal after announcing her retirement from Mildenhall College of Technology.
After helping dish up more than three million meals, Mrs Clements, who turned 70 last year, has decided to hang up her cook’s hat after 36 years at the Bury Road college.
“It will seem very strange not to see Sheila every day bright and early in her pinny and hat,” said headteacher Susan Byles.
“A big thank you goes out to her for the tremendous work she has done at the college over the years.”
