Send us your recipes and win £20 to spend at Powters

THE winner of this week’s favourite family recipe competition is Pamela Willson, of Vicarage Lane, Wood Ditton, who tells readers how to make sausage stuffing.

She said: “It is a favourite with my family. It’s delicious and there’s never any left over.”

The recipe feature is sponsored by Newmarket butchers Powters, which provides a £20 voucher each week to spend in its Wellington Street shop to the reader whose favourite family recipe appears in the Journal.

They should be tried and tested family recipes that use basic, reasonably-priced ingredients. They don’t have to be meat dishes - recipes for cakes, puddings and preserves are also welcome.

If you have a recipe you think would appeal to Journal readers, send it either via email to alison.hayes@newmarketjournal.co.uk or post it to Newmarket Journal recipes, Rookery House, The Guineas, Newmarket, Suffolk CB8 8SY.

Please include you name and full postal address and a daytime telephone number, along with a brief explanation of why you think your recipe would appeal to readers.
