Round of applause for Newmarket theatre group

MY wife and I attended the Kings Theatre in Newmarket on Saturday to watch the latest production from the Newmarket Millennium Youth Theatre.

The production of Much Ado Ron Ron was performed by students aged 13 to 18 and who rehearsed the show in only one week.

I am writing to congratulate not only the students but the production team for a magnificent performance.

The entire cast were absolutely brilliant and without mentioning individuals some of the individual performance were exceptional, either for acting, singing or pure comedy.

Thank you all for a fantastic evening of entertainment.

I would like to say a big Thank You to Wallace Wareham, Gail Baker and the great team at The Kings Theatre in Newmarket for this year's brilliant Summer School show from the Newmarket Millennium Youth Theatre (NMYT).

It is almost unbelievable that after just eight days of rehearsals prior to the performances, that 47 youngsters can be brought together to thrill the Newmarket audiences for a week with the result of their endeavours.

Their enthusiasm is infectious, energising, and a pure joy to experience.

Much Ado Ron Ron is the 11th production in the 11 years of the NMYT and loses nothing of the initial zest all those years ago.

On behalf of all of us who have been privileged to share these fantastic shows, thank you Wallace and your team for your faith and fervour to help shape the futures of so many young people, and for bringing us such superb entertainment.
