Plants stolen as we watched in horror

Hopefully through the pages of your paper, we can appeal for our plants to be returned to the new flower borders along the Exning Road.

Three Fridays ago my neighbour and I, watched in horror as two girls on bicycles, aged approximately , 12, and eight, rode up to the bed, nearest to the garage and pulled out a complete hebe plant and put it straight into a carrier bag and rode off towards Exning.

Since then, a further two have been removed completely from the next border down, in similar fashion.

We have great pleasure now these borders are in place and wish to keep them as designed.

It's looking like an uphill struggle as even though we give our time care and attention to the border, it seems others have different ideas.
