Olive Langley

OLIVE Vera Langley, of Carter Street, Fordham, died at West Suffolk Hospital, Bury St Edmunds, on December 20, 2008, after a short illness. She was 86.

Born in Fordham and educated at the village school, she enjoyed gardening and while bringing up the family she cut and packed flowers for dispatch to Covent Garden market.

While her husband Frank was alive, she enjoyed going on coaching holidays all over the country with him.

She loved spending time with the family, doing crossword puzzles and watching television.

Widowed in June 1997, she leaves a son David, two daughters Doreen and Susan, six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Her funeral took place at St Peter's Church, Fordham, on January 5 and the Rev Kate Peacock officiated.
