I hope development isn't a clone

I see that we are going to be blessed with another new development from Hopkins Homes in Soham, this time on the south side of town.

Presumably the town council is pleased with this outcome, unlike many of the local residents.

I just hope that this does not turn out to be a clone of the development at the other end.

There seems to be very little idea of what is going to be built at this stage but I am hoping for the best and just praying that we don't get any more three-storey barrack blocks; particularly for the sake of those being overlooked.

I wrote at length to the district Council voicing my concerns over this development, regarding the house styles, density and the debatable location for the new road junction,

I hope, in the long run, that my doubts will prove to be unfounded.
