Hazel Martin
Hazel Arthur Martin of Highwood Crescent, Gazeley died at West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds on September 5. He was 82.
Mr Martin was born in Great Saxham. He was an agricultural worker His war service included being a member of the Royal Norfolk Regiment serving in India and being a member of the Home Guard.
His interests included football - he was a Newmarket and Ipswich Town supporter, he also enjoyed fishing, speedway and gardening.
He is survived by his widow Joan, son Roger and grandsons Matthew and Ryan.
The funeral service was held at All Saints Church in Gazeley when the Rev Stephen Mitchell officiated.
