Ethel Spinks

FORMER cook, Ethel Maud Spinks, of Exning Court, Cotten End Road, Exning, died at West Suffolk Hospital, Bury St Edmunds, on December 2. She was 93.

Born in Norfolk in 1916, she enjoyed cooking, gardening and knitting.

Widow of the late Harold, she leaves a daughter Susan, son Fred and grandson Dennis.

Her funeral took place at Cambridge City Crematorium on December 11 and the Rev David Mason officiated.

Family mourners were: Susan and Ken Roberts, Fred and Shirley Spinks, and Dennis Roberts.

Other mourners attending were: Alan Bone, Madelaine Bone, Katherine Bone, Eleanor Bone, Doreen Tilbury, Avril Wiseman, Mary Adamson, Joan Harboard, Brian Harboard, Linda Bone, Marjorie Tribe, Sharon Atkins, Edmund Perry, James Perry, David Grant, Peter Reeves, Sidney Ricketts, Audrey Clayton-Smith, Vic Hubbard and Florence Sims.
