Bid to open caravan site at farm
A NEW caravan park could be set up in Beck Row if it receives the go-ahead from district council planners.
Plans to create the new touring caravan site at Ryeland Farm were submitted by Robert Newman, owner of the farm, on Wednesday.
Under the proposals the new venue would include pitches for caravans and tents, a caravan sales area, a wash area and an accessory shop. A toilet and shower block, along with office space, are also included.
Should the plan get the green light the site would open from 8am to 8pm.
The new park is also expected to create four full time jobs.
