Ada Dunning

Ada Lilian Dunling died at her home in Bolton Close, Burwell, on August 19. She was 85.

Mrs Dunling was born in Reach and lived most of her life in the Newmarket area. She was a nurse by profession and worked at Newmarket Hospital and Warwick Hospital Later she ran the grocery shop in Newmarket's New Cheveley Road.

She was a member of Burwell's Monday Club and enjoyed watching motor racing and rugby on television. She leaves a son Gerry and four grandchildren, Matthew, Sara, Louise and Ian.

Her funeral service was held at St Mary's Church, Burwell when the Rev David Bush officiated.

Mourners included: Gerry and Sue Dunling (son and daughter-in-law rep Louise and Ian Dunling and Sally Turner and Nick), Matthew and Sara Dunling, Laura Dunling, Michael Hall, Ann Jennings, Roger and Joy Hart, Monica Dunling, Pamela Smith, Chris and Emma Jennings, Libby Lomas (Rhisiart Lomas).Richard Smith (Elsie Bird and Helen Platt), Ann Raithby, Helen Southern, Mick and Karen Carew, Betty Tweed, Sue and John Turton (Helen Turton), Miriam and Phillip Enstone, Philippa Shepherd, Carol and David Short, Prue Williams, Mark Godfrey, Joan White (Ruby Durrant), Julie Hawes, Beryl Brown, Cherie and Dave Ingham, Jan Searle (Colin Searle), Suzanne, Natasha and Maya McKitterick, Maurenn Cahill, David Godfrey and Wayne Price.
