Walk dates for Ramblers

Newmarket Ramblers have two walks on Sunday, 11 miles from Boxworth and five miles from Brandon (Bury Road car park) both at 10am.

RAF service at Beck Row

Letter: ‘Statement based on self interest’

The view continues to be peddled that Budgens convenience store in Clay Street, Soham, is the key to the future of Soham town centre. Not surprisingly it comes from Jonathan James, the owner of Budgens (see last week’s Soham Journal). He says that without his store, shoppers won’t use the other shops in the High Street, such as the baker and greengrocer.
