FORMER carpet fitter Joe (Harwood Raymond) Hindle, of Armstrong Close, Newmarket, died at his home on January 12. He was 60 and had been ill for 15 months.

FORMER racehorse transport operator James Martin Ratcliffe died suddenly of a heart attack after a two-year battle with cancer on January 25 at West Suffolk Hospital, Bury St Edmunds. He was 70.
